Postcards to Cost $1.75 Under New International Rates

Worldwide Postcard Price Set

Starting July 12, 2026, a single-piece international postcard will cost $1.75 worldwide. This new price applies to all First-Class Mail International postcards sent to any country.

Inbound Customs Fee Removed

Effective July 12, 2026, the Postal Service will remove the Customs Clearance and Delivery Fee for inbound Letter Post letters and flats. Recipients of inbound international letters and flats will no longer be charged that specific fee.

New International Letter & Flat Rates

The Postal Service published new First-Class Mail International single-piece letter and flat prices effective July 12, 2026. For example, some 1-ounce letters are priced at $1.75, other letter rates range up to $3.50 or more by weight and price group, and flats have published prices ranging from $3.30 up to $18.55 depending on weight and price group.

Certificate of Mailing Fee Changes

Beginning July 12, 2026, Certificate of Mailing fees for First-Class Mail International change: an individual article (PS Form 3817) is $2.55, a duplicate copy (per page) is $2.55, firm mailing sheet pieces are $0.75 (minimum 3), bulk first 1,000 pieces $14.25, and each additional 1,000 pieces $1.80. Duplicate copy of PS Form 3606 is $2.55.

International Extra Service Fee Increases

Effective July 12, 2026, several international extra-service fees change: Registered Mail for First-Class Mail International will be $25.00, Return Receipt service will be $7.20, International Business Reply Service (IBRS) cards will be $2.65, and IBRS envelopes (up to 2 ounces) will be $3.30.
