Providers must submit detailed certification and annual reports and meet other recordkeeping and reporting requirements.

TRS Users Get Better 911 Location Protections

If you rely on relay services because of hearing or speech disabilities, providers must register and verify users, maintain routing and Registered Location data, and fixed internet-based TRS devices must provide automated dispatchable location; non-fixed devices may provide Registered Location or alternative location information. Providers must also give customers at least 30 days' notice before stopping service.

Class A Stations: Schedule F Requirements

The FCC revised FCC Form 2100, Schedule F (OMB 3060-0928) to require Class A stations to file modification applications when changing community of license or downgrading station status. The collection lists 95 respondents, 2.0 hours per response, total annual burden 380 hours, and an annual cost burden of $40,375.

FCC Requests Small-Biz Paperwork Feedback

If you run a small business with fewer than 25 employees, the FCC is asking for specific comments on how to reduce paperwork burden. The agency requests written comments by July 17, 2026 under the Small Business Paperwork Relief Act of 2002.

Broadcasters Face Schedule D Filings

The FCC revised FCC Form 2100, Schedule D (OMB 3060-0017) to implement a December 19, 2025 Report and Order requiring stations to file an application for modification when changing their community of license or service designation.
