Disaster Loans Available to Affected Businesses

If your small business or small agricultural cooperative was hurt by the blizzard that struck February 22–27, 2026, you may apply for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL). Eligible areas include the primary counties Barnstable, Bristol, Dukes, and Plymouth, plus contiguous counties in Massachusetts (Nantucket, Norfolk, Suffolk) and Rhode Island (Bristol, Newport, Providence). Apply through the SBA Loan Portal at https://lending.sba.gov or in announced local locations before the application deadline on March 12, 2027.

Specified Low Interest Rates for Disaster Loans

The SBA set the interest rate for EIDLs at 4.000% for businesses and small agricultural cooperatives that have no credit available elsewhere, and 3.625% for private non-profit organizations that have no credit available elsewhere. These rates apply to loans under this Economic Injury Disaster Loan declaration (Disaster Number 216450).
