If you are The Chickasaw Nation or a lineal descendant, Murray State University has determined at least nine Native American individuals and four associated funerary objects are culturally affiliated with The Chickasaw Nation and may be returned. Repatriation requests may be submitted to Murray State University starting on or after July 22, 2026, and the university will decide between competing requests.
