More Weekday Nasdaq‑100 Option Expirations
If you trade options on the Nasdaq-100 index (NDX), the SEC approved on June 16, 2026 a rule letting Nasdaq ISE list A.M.-settled NDX options that expire on any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday except the third Friday of the month and days that coincide with an end‑of‑month expiration, and also on the last trading day of the month. The rule allows these A.M.-settled weekly and end‑of‑month expirations to be nonconsecutive, permits first-listed series to expire up to four weeks from the listing date, and uses the same maximum number of expirations as currently permitted under Options 4A, Section 12(a)(3).
