Analyzed Economic Effects
5 provisions identified: 1 benefits, 4 costs, 0 mixed.
One‑time 10% connectivity fee increase
The Exchange proposes a one-time increase of up to 10% for certain connectivity products and services. The increase is based on the Data Processing and Related Services Producer Price Index (Data PPI) (Data PPI rose approximately 13.59% from January 2017 through February 2026), and the Exchange says it is limiting increases to not more than 10%.
Remote Hands Service fee raised to $165
The Remote Hands Service fee will be increased from $151.50 to $165.00. The Exchange says this corrects an item that was not adjusted as intended in its 2024 proposal.
Fiber patch cord per‑meter price reduced
The per-meter component of the Fiber Patch Cords--Multi-mode fee will be reduced from $1.75 to $1.65 per meter. The Exchange describes this as correcting the fee to align with its 2024 proposal.
Testing Facility fees raised to $1,100 per hand‑off
The monthly connection fee and the one-time installation fee for the Exchange's Testing Facility (Carteret, New Jersey) will be increased from $1,055 to $1,100 per hand-off. The Exchange says this aligns the Testing Facility fees with the 10% adjustment described in its 2024 proposal.
Fee changes effective upon filing; 60‑day SEC review
The proposed rule change was filed on June 2, 2026 and became effective upon filing under Section 19(b)(3)(A)(ii) of the Exchange Act, so the fee changes take effect immediately. The SEC may suspend the rule within 60 days, and written comments are invited and should be submitted on or before July 13, 2026.
