Shorter Application Lowers Paperwork Time

The VA revised the VAF 22-10203 application to be simpler and quicker; the agency reports an estimated average burden of 15 minutes per respondent. The notice estimates 11,150 respondents and a total annual burden of 2,788 hours, and says the burden decreased because fewer applicants submitted applications in 2022 and 2023.

Renewal Keeps Application Process Active

VA is renewing approval for this information collection so students can continue to apply for the Edith Nourse Rogers STEM Scholarship and so VA can use the form data to prioritize awarding the scholarship. The notice describes this action as a revision of a currently approved collection.
