Consolidated Part 4 Reporting

Two existing information collections (OMB Control Nos. 9000-0177 and 9000-0189) would be combined under OMB Control No. 9000-0189 with the new title "Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 4 Requirements," and OMB Control No. 9000-0177 will be discontinued. The revised annual burden for that consolidated collection is estimated as 66,575 respondents, 271,227 total annual responses, and 393,994 total burden hours; the rule also revises the collection to exclude commercial acquisitions from FAR clauses 52.204-10, 52.204-14, and 52.204-15.

New Part 40 Reporting Burden

Several collections (including FAR 52.204-23 and collections under OMB Control Nos. 9000-0189 and 9000-0205) would be consolidated under OMB Control No. 9000-0199 titled "Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 40 Requirements," and OMB Control No. 9000-0205 will be discontinued. The revision adds information-collection burden to implement Section 203 of the Federal Acquisition Supply Chain Security Act of 2018 and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) requirements; the revised annual burden is estimated as 19,894 respondents, 73,519 total annual responses, and 213,987 total burden hours.
