Temporary Boating Access Restriction

You may not enter a marked area of the Tred Avon River near Oxford, Maryland during the power boat race on July 18, 2026 between 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. (or on July 19, 2026 if inclement weather forces a move) unless you are a race participant registered with the event sponsor or you obtain permission. The regulated area (race area plus buffer zone) is defined by coordinates beginning at 38°41'02.42" N 76°10'25.71" W and includes the race course; only authorized vessels may enter. To request permission, contact the Captain of the Port on VHF-FM channel 16 or by telephone at (410) 576-2693.
