TVA will use the PEIS while consulting with federal, state, and tribal authorities and will ensure compliance with environmental laws including the Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and National Historic Preservation Act. Site-specific NEPA analyses would still be completed if a proposed action exceeds the PEIS bounding criteria or requires additional consultation.
