Virtual Public Hearing on August 5

The Delaware River Basin Commission will hold a virtual public hearing on August 5, 2026 starting at 1:30 p.m. Hearing items include draft dockets for withdrawals, discharges, and other projects that could have a substantial effect on the basin's water resources, and a resolution to reauthorize the Water Quality Advisory Committee.

Written Comment Deadline August 10

You can submit written comments on items scheduled for the August 5, 2026 hearing through 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026 using the Commission's web-based comment system. Exceptions to using the web system are available by mail request to the Commission Secretary.

Business Meeting September 2 In Person

The Commission will hold an in-person business meeting on September 2, 2026 at Washington Crossing Historic Park Visitor's Center beginning no earlier than 11:00 a.m., where it may adopt, change, deny, or defer items for which hearings have been completed. There will be up to one hour of Open Public Comment after scheduled business, but there will be no additional on-record public comment at the meeting for items that had their hearing on August 5, 2026.

Project Materials Posted Ten Days Prior

A list of projects scheduled for the August 5, 2026 hearing, with project descriptions and links to draft docket approvals and draft resolutions, will be posted on the Commission's website at least ten days before the hearing date. Items may also be added or postponed up to ten days prior to the hearing.

Accommodations for Participation

Closed captioning will be available on webinar and livestream platforms, toll-free phone numbers will be provided for virtual meeting access, and individuals needing Americans with Disabilities Act accommodations should contact the Commission Secretary (609-477-7224 or TRS 711).

Water Quality Advisory Committee Reauthorization

One agenda item at the August 5, 2026 hearing is a resolution to reauthorize the Water Quality Advisory Committee. The Commission may consider related resolutions and draft dockets at the September 2, 2026 business meeting.
