Summary
As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) is submitting the following extensions and revisions of currently approved collections to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for renewal.

Credit Union Security Program Renewal
Federally insured credit unions must continue to maintain a written security program under 12 CFR part 748 to safeguard sensitive member information and respond to unauthorized access that could cause substantial harm or serious inconvenience to members. The collection covers an estimated 4,287 respondents, with an estimated total annual burden of 206,368 hours and an average 2.65 hours per response; the burden fell from 240,398 hours based on the December 2025 NCUA Call Report.
Member Business Loan Rule Modernization
The extension covers the revised Member Business Loans rule (12 CFR part 723) that modernizes commercial lending requirements and gives federally insured credit unions greater flexibility and autonomy in providing business loans to members. The collection lists 1,748 estimated respondents, 1,748 total annual responses, and an estimated total annual burden of 3,496 hours.
Recordkeeping & Consumer Disclosures Preserved
The NCUA is renewing the collection covering recordkeeping and disclosure requirements associated with Regulations B, E, M, and CC, which govern credit application notices, disclosure of credit terms and costs, error resolution on certain credit accounts, and timing/disclosures about availability of deposited funds. This collection lists an estimated 1,602,686 respondents, about 23,908,535 total annual responses, and an estimated 1,055,737 total annual burden hours.
