Notice

Summary

In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, FAA invites public comments about our intention to request the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval for renewal of information collection. The collection for visitors involves individual names, driver's license number and vehicle license plate at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center. The information to be collected will be used to authenticate individuals attempting to access the Aeronautical Center.

Analyzed Economic Effects

3 provisions identified: 0 benefits, 3 costs, 0 mixed.

Visitors must give name, ID, and vehicle info

If you want to enter the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), the FAA collects your legal name, driver’s license number, and vehicle information (license plate, make, model, color) to authenticate you and create temporary access badges. This applies to visitors, contractors, and federal personnel who attend or work at MMAC.

Parking permit info required to enter facility

Parking permits are necessary to gain entry to the MMAC campus. The ACSMS tracks driver’s license numbers and vehicle information (e.g., license plate number, make, model, color) to issue and manage parking permits for federal employees and contractors.

Security and investigations can access and retain PII

PII collected in the ACSMS (names, routing/company, driver’s license, vehicle info) is shared with MMAC Security and Investigations (AMC-700) and MMAC Security Forces for identity validation, investigations, and litigation. Records can be archived and reconstructed from backup media.
