Mandatory Repetitive Fuel Leak Checks

Ban on Installing Affected Parts
The AD prohibits installing the affected copper sealing rings in the fuel system of Stemme Model Stemme S 12 gliders. You may not put the specified affected parts back into service after this rule is adopted.

This AD requires revising the existing Airplane Flight Manual Supplement (AFM-S) to limit ETOPS-180 operations to three flightcrew members, as applicable, and correct minimum oxygen dispatch pressure information. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
