Nasdaq Bitcoin Options Approval Stayed

On May 22, 2026 the Division had approved Nasdaq PHLX’s plan to list and trade Nasdaq Bitcoin Index options, but the Commission granted CME Group’s petition for review on July 29, 2026 and ordered that the Approval Order is stayed. Any party or person may file a written statement in support of or opposition to the Approval Order on or before August 24, 2026; trading under the Approval Order remains paused until the Commission decides otherwise.
