LSC Adds Fraud Statutes

If you are a Legal Services Corporation (LSC) grant recipient, LSC is adding three criminal laws—18 U.S.C. 1030, 18 U.S.C. 1341, and 18 U.S.C. 1343—to the list of Federal laws you must follow under 45 CFR part 1640. The change is effective September 4, 2026, and violating these laws can make an LSC grant or contract null or void under section 504(a)(19).
