Foreign-built 12-passenger Vessel Request
MARAD received a request for the foreign-built vessel S/V BUCKET LIST to operate in U.S. coastwise trade carrying no more than 12 passengers for hire. MARAD is asking for public comments by September 4, 2026 to help decide whether that use would have an undue adverse effect on U.S. vessel builders or coastwise trade businesses that use U.S.-built vessels.
