If you want a copy of your FBI identification record in the Next Generation Identification System, you must submit the Identity History Summary Request Form (1-783). The DOJ estimates 74,438 respondents will file this form each year, it takes about 5 minutes per response (total 6,203 annual burden hours), and the total annual cost burden is $171,947. Comments on this information collection are accepted until October 5, 2026.
