If you are on Lake St. Clair, you may not enter the navigable waters within a 475-foot radius of the fireworks launch barge at Grosse Pointe Yacht Club between 9:30 p.m. on August 14, 2026 and 10:30 p.m. on August 15, 2026. The zone will be enforced from 9:30–10:30 p.m. on August 14, 2026 (or 9:30–10:30 p.m. on August 15, 2026 if there is inclement weather). Entry is allowed only if the Captain of the Port Detroit or a designated representative authorizes it (contact on VHF-FM channel 16).
