Free Trials Fixed to Jul–Dec 2022

If you request a free trial of Cboe's End-of-Day or Intraday Open-Close Data, you will receive the same six-month dataset covering July 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022 instead of being allowed to choose any six-month historical window. This change applies to EOD Open-Close Data, Ten-Minute Interval Intraday Open-Close Data, and One-Minute Interval Intraday Open-Close Data.

Six-Month Free Trial Remains Free

The Exchange keeps the free trial duration at six months and the free trial continues to impose no charge on requesting participants. The proposed change does not alter the fees charged for the underlying Open-Close Data products.

Uniform Trial Ensures Equal Access

All requesting participants will receive the identical six-month trial dataset covering July 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022, the Exchange says, to promote consistency and non-discriminatory access. The standardized sample is intended to ensure every prospective subscriber gets the same data on the same terms.
