Summary

Notice is hereby given that on August 14, 2026, the presiding administrative law judge ("ALJ") issued an Initial Determination on Violation of Section 337. The ALJ also issued a Recommended Determination on remedy and bonding should a violation be found in the above-captioned investigation. The Commission is soliciting submissions on public interest issues raised by the recommended relief should the Commission find a violation. This notice is soliciting comments from the public and interested government agencies only.

Possible Exclusion of Dell & Lenovo Devices

On August 14, 2026 the administrative law judge recommended a limited exclusion order targeting certain wireless communications devices and components imported or sold by Dell Technologies Inc., Dell Products L.P., and Lenovo (United States) Inc., and recommended cease-and-desist orders against Dell and Lenovo. If the Commission adopts those remedial orders after considering public-interest comments, the specified articles could be excluded from entry into the United States. Public comments on these recommended orders are due by close of business on September 15, 2026 and are limited to five (5) pages.
