The surveys announced in this notice, which were executed at the request of the BLM and the U.S. Forest Service, are necessary for the management of these lands.

Deadline to Protest and Stay Filing
If you want to challenge one of the plats, you must file a written notice of protest with the BLM Colorado State Office that is received no later than the scheduled filing date, October 5, 2026. A timely protest must identify the specific plat(s); if a timely protest is received, the official filing of those plat(s) will be stayed until the protest is resolved and the plats will not be filed until the next business day after all timely protests are dismissed or resolved.
