Premiori, LLC, (Premiori), has determined that certain Premiorri Solazo replacement passenger car tires do not fully comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 139, New Pneumatic Radial Tires for Light Vehicles. Premiori filed an original noncompliance report dated June 28, 2022, and amended the report on October 27, 2022. Premiori petitioned NHTSA on July 7, 2022, for a decision that the subject noncompliance is inconsequential as it relates to motor vehicle safety. This document announces the grant of Premiori's petition.

No Manufacturer Recall for ~8 Tires
If you own one of the approximately 8 Premiorri Solazo tires size 175/65R14 82H manufactured between February 7, 2021 and April 30, 2021, Premiori is exempted from the duties to notify owners or to remedy the noncompliance because NHTSA granted its petition. The exemption applies only to the subject tires that Premiori no longer controlled when it found the issue.
Dealers Still Barred From Selling Noncompliant Stock
Distributors and dealers remain prohibited from selling, offering for sale, or introducing into interstate commerce noncompliant tires or vehicles under their control after Premiori notified them the noncompliance existed. That prohibition is not lifted by NHTSA's grant of Premiori's petition.
Missing DOT/TIN on One Sidewall Noted
The affected tires lack the DOT symbol and full or partial Tire Identification Number (TIN) on one sidewall due to a mold error, though they do have the DOT symbol and TIN on the other sidewall. NHTSA noted consumers may have more difficulty reading a TIN on the inner sidewall after the tire is installed, but said the information required for registration and identification is present.
