LED Tape Light System Scope Check
If you import or export LED tape light systems, Commerce received a scope ruling application for an "LED Tape Light System" produced in and exported from China and Thailand. The application was filed July 8, 2026 by Wangs Alliance Corporation and WAC Lighting (Dongguan) Co., Ltd., and the application details are available on ACCESS as of September 4, 2026. Commerce will determine whether this product falls within the antidumping and/or countervailing duty orders for aluminum extrusions from China.
Cold-Drawn Tubing Scope Inquiry Filed
If you import or export inner-surface-finished cold-drawn mechanical tubing, Commerce received a scope ruling application for that product produced in and exported from China and India. Multiple U.S. domestic companies (ArcelorMittal Tubular Products; Michigan Seamless Tube, LLC; PTC Alliance LLC; Webco Industries, Inc.; and Zekelman Industries, Inc.) filed the application on July 9, 2026, and the application is available on ACCESS as of September 4, 2026. Commerce will determine whether the tubing is covered by the AD and/or CVD orders for certain cold-drawn mechanical tubing.
Mattress Foam Scope Application Filed
If you import or export polyurethane foams used in mattresses, Commerce received a scope ruling application for polyurethane foams produced in and exported from Mexico. Kuka Sleep, Inc. submitted the application on July 27, 2026, and the application is available on ACCESS as of September 4, 2026. Commerce will decide whether these foams are covered by the antidumping duty order on mattresses from Mexico.

The U.S. Department of Commerce found that some Indian companies sold cold-drawn steel tubing in the U.S. for less than fair value from June 2024 to May 2025. This means these companies might have to pay extra duties to level the playing field for U.S. businesses. The review is still preliminary, and companies can share their thoughts before final decisions are made.

The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) preliminarily determines that the sole producer/exporter subject to this review, Non- Ferrous Metal Works (SA) (PTY) Ltd. (NFMW), made sales of subject merchandise at less than normal value (NV) during the period of review (POR) December 1, 2023, through May 31, 2025. Interested parties are invited to comment on these preliminary results.
