If you boat on the York River near Yorktown Beach and Waterfront, you may not enter the marked safety zone from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on October 16, 2026 unless the Captain of the Port or a designated representative gives permission. The zone covers waters between the listed WGS 84 coordinates beginning at 37°14'18" N, 076°30'19" W; 37°14'16" N, 076°30'13" W; 37°14'7" N, 076°30'18" W; and 37°14'12" N, 076°30'23" W.
