Temporary Mission Bay Access Restrictions

If you use Mission Bay by boat, you may not anchor, block, loiter, or impede within the San Diego Bayfair regulated area (including Fiesta Bay, the east side of Vacation Isle, and Crown Point shores) from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day on September 18, 2026, through September 20, 2026, unless you are authorized by the Captain of the Port or their representative.

Permission and Notice Procedures for Bayfair

You may enter the regulated area only if authorized by the Captain of the Port or a designated representative; the Captain may also grant general permission via a Safety Marine Information Broadcast. The Coast Guard will notify mariners through the Local Notice to Mariners and Marine Safety Information Broadcasts, and may be assisted by other Federal, State, or local law enforcement during enforcement.
