Cash deposit rates take effect
For shipments of methionine entered or withdrawn for consumption on or after the publication date (September 14, 2026), the cash deposit rate for Adisseo will equal the final weighted-average dumping margin of 8.20%. The cash deposit rate for all other producers and exporters remains 37.53% ad valorem.
Unreviewed entries may face 37.53%
Commerce will apply its automatic assessment practice to entries of methionine during the period of review that were produced or exported by Adisseo but for which Adisseo did not know the goods sold to an intermediary were destined for the United States. In such cases, Customs and Border Protection will liquidate those unreviewed entries at the all-others rate of 37.53% if there is no rate for the intermediate company.
File reimbursement certificate or risk double duties
Importers must file a certificate about reimbursement of antidumping duties under 19 CFR 351.402(f)(2) before liquidation of the relevant entries from the period of review. If you fail to file this certificate, Commerce may presume reimbursement occurred and assess double antidumping duties.
Adisseo hit with 8.20% duty
If you import methionine from Adisseo España S.A., Commerce found a weighted-average dumping margin of 8.20% for the period September 1, 2023 through August 31, 2024. That 8.20% margin is the basis for antidumping duties assessed on Adisseo's examined sales for that period.
