Temporary Safety Zone on Calcasieu River

The Coast Guard created a temporary safety zone on the Calcasieu River Channel near the Cameron LNG turning basin effective September 11, 2026 through October 31, 2026. The zone will be enforced for four hours on each of two days during that period (the exact days and times will be announced by Broadcast Notice to Mariners); no vessel or person may enter during enforcement unless authorized by the Captain of the Port, Port Arthur.
