2 provisions identified: 0 benefits, 2 costs, 0 mixed.
Purveyors must report large-customer water use
If your water system withdraws an average of 100,000 gallons per day (gpd) or more over any 30-day period, you must report each customer that receives at least 50,000 gpd (30-day average). Reports must include year, DRBC docket and state permit numbers, the reporting entity's customer ID, monthly volumes for each of the 12 months, customer type/sector, and NAICS code. Monthly data collection begins with calendar year 2026 data to be submitted in June 2027, and after the rule's effective date all months after that date must be reported monthly.
Large customers' monthly use and identifiers reported
Large customers who receive 50,000 gpd or more will have their reporting-entity-assigned customer ID, monthly water volumes for each reported month, customer sector/type, and NAICS code provided to the Commission. The Commission will collect monthly data starting with calendar year 2026 (submitted June 2027), with limited allowance for less-than-monthly billing data only for 2026 and any months of 2027 before the rule becomes effective.
