If a Level 3 market-wide circuit breaker (a 20% decline in the S&P 500 Index) is triggered, trading on Cboe EDGX will be halted and will resume at 4:00 a.m. ET on the following trading day. The Exchange is amending Rule 11.24(b)(2) to replace the phrase halting "for the remainder of the trading day" with a hard-coded resumption time of 4:00 a.m. ET.

Exchange Expands to 23/5 Trading Hours

Cboe EDGX intends to offer 23 hours of trading per day, 5 days per week, by adding an Overnight Trading Session from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. ET. The Exchange intends to begin 23/5 trading on December 6, 2026, pending industry readiness and the EDGX 23x5 filing.
