IEX added to $0.25 routing fee

Starting October 1, 2026, Cboe BZX will append fee code RP to Customer orders it routes to IEX Exchange, Inc., and such routed orders will be charged $0.25 per contract. This is the same $0.25 per contract charge that currently applies to other exchanges in fee code RP.

Uniform fee for penny and non‑penny classes

The Exchange states that all Members' Customer orders in non-penny (and, as applicable, penny) classes routed to IEX will automatically receive fee code RP and be uniformly assessed the $0.25 per contract charge. The rule applies to all Members' applicable Customer orders routed to IEX.

Routing through BZX remains optional

The filing states that routing through the Exchange is optional and market participants can continue to choose where to route applicable Customer orders. Members may direct order flow to other venues if they prefer different pricing.
