Monthly/Quarterly Ombudsman Reporting Requirement

If you serve as a Navy Family Ombudsman, you must submit a standardized worksheet either monthly (Active Duty: 12 responses per year) or quarterly (Reserve: 4 responses per year). Each response takes about 5 minutes; the collection covers 3,800 respondents, 39,200 annual responses, and totals 3,267 annual burden hours.

Reports Used To Support Program Oversight and Funding

The information you provide will be used by commanders, Ombudsman Coordinators, and Commander, Navy Installations Command to document Ombudsman activities and to support oversight, training, resource planning, funding considerations, and assessment of volunteer contributions and cost avoidance. Your worksheet data will inform command awareness of family-readiness issues and trends.
