Analyzed Economic Effects

3 provisions identified: 2 benefits, 1 costs, 0 mixed.

Monthly Review Can Suspend New Option Openings

The Exchange will consider suspending opening transactions in any series of options on Fund Shares approved under the multi-crypto criteria if, as determined monthly, the $700 million average daily market value test or the surveillance-agreement test is no longer satisfied. This continued-listing standard is effective upon filing on September 29, 2026.

Options Allowed on Multi‑Crypto Trusts

The Exchange may list options on commodity-based trusts that hold multiple crypto assets if each crypto asset has an average daily market value of at least $700 million over the last 12 months and each crypto asset underlies a derivatives contract traded on a market with which the Exchange has a comprehensive surveillance sharing agreement (including via the Intermarket Surveillance Group). This rule became operative upon filing on September 29, 2026.

Options May Be Listed on 6c‑11 ETFs

The Exchange may list and trade options on exchange-traded funds that qualify under SEC Rule 6c-11 (the ETF rule), creating a streamlined pathway to list options on ETF Shares that meet Rule 6c-11 transparency and listing standards. This amendment was made operative upon filing on September 29, 2026.
