New restricted airspace near Cherry Point

If you fly in the Cherry Point, NC area, the FAA established two new restricted areas (R-5306G and R-5306H) effective 0901 UTC on December 24, 2026. R-5306G covers 18,000 feet MSL to 23,000 feet MSL and is intermittent 0600-0000 local Monday–Friday (other times by NOTAM); R-5306H covers 23,001 feet MSL to 27,000 feet MSL and is intermittent by NOTAM (4 hours notice) 0001-1230 local May 1 through October 31.
