Published Date: 10/20/2026

Notice

Summary

The U.S. Navy wants to fix the TRF wharf at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia, and this work might disturb local marine mammals. NOAA is thinking about giving the Navy permission to do this with some rules to protect the animals and is asking the public to share their thoughts by November 19, 2026. If all goes well, the Navy might get a one-year extension to keep the project going without extra paperwork.
