October 2026: Cap on Floor Broker Credits Waived

For October 2026, NYSE American will waive the monthly cap on combined Floor Broker credits for QCC trades and rebates paid through the Manual Billable Rebate Program. The cap had been set per month per Floor Broker firm (historically $3,000,000 in 2025, increased to $4,000,000, and later to $5,500,000 in March 2026), so Floor Broker firms can earn credits/rebates above those limits for October 2026.

Waiver Intended to Preserve Exchange Liquidity

The Exchange says it is waiving the cap in October 2026 to discourage Floor Broker firms from redirecting order flow away from the Exchange and to encourage them to continue executing open outcry transactions there. The filing states this should increase liquidity and market quality on the Exchange and thus benefit all market participants.
