Summary
Protects public access by stopping closures and long relocations of existing federal records centers. This bill would prohibit the Archivist from closing or imposing unreasonable restrictions on public access to any records center or archive facility established before enactment. It would also forbid reconstruction, conversion, or rehabilitation that would require moving records for more than 180 days.
