Find accredited help for VA claims
If enacted, VA would keep an online, searchable list of accredited representatives. The list would be updated at least every three months. If you file an initial claim without representation, VA would tell you about the list, free help from recognized veterans groups, and where to report non‑accredited representatives and any fees. VA claim websites would warn about agent or attorney fees and link to the list and reporting page. "Accredited" would include recognized veterans groups, attorneys, and agents. VA would also review its recognition rules and report to Congress within 180 days of enactment.
Extend pension time limit to 2032
If enacted, the deadline for certain VA pension rules would move to March 31, 2032. It would replace the current date of November 30, 2031. This would not change payment amounts. The change would start upon enactment.
