The FAA would also accept a certificate stored in the cloud when there is enough connectivity. The digital certificate would need to be issued by the FAA and meet its authentication and verification rules. The FAA would need to update regulations in 14 C.F.R. parts 61, 63, 65, 67, and 107 by November 30, 2028.
