More grant funding for recovery communities
This bill would increase annual authorized grants for the Communities of Recovery program to $17 million per year for fiscal years 2026 through 2030. It would replace the prior authorization of $5 million per year that covered fiscal years 2019–2023. If enacted, the change would take effect upon enactment and run through the end of FY2030. The bill does not change who can get grants or add new program rules; it only changes the funding level.
