Summary
Criminalizes using shell companies to hide foreign nationals' election contributions. This bill would make it a federal crime for an owner, officer, attorney, or incorporation agent to form or use a corporation or similar entity with the intent to conceal an activity by a foreign national barred under the Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA) section 319, punishable by up to five years in prison, fines, or both.

New crime for hiding foreign election money
This bill would create a new federal crime. Owners, officers, attorneys, and incorporation agents would face charges if they set up or use a company to hide a foreign national’s banned election activity, like contributions or donations. “Foreign national” would use the definition in federal election law.
