Caps the number of for‑profit Small Business Lending Companies authorized to make SBA Section 7 loans at 16. The CEASE Act of 2025 would require the SBA Administrator to ensure no more than 16 for‑profit SBLCs are authorized to make loans under section 7 of the Small Business Act, and nonprofit SBLCs would not count toward that limit.
