Microloans for Northern Mariana Islands businesses
If enacted, this would add the Northern Mariana Islands to the Small Business Administration Microloan Program. Small businesses and approved local intermediaries there would be clearly eligible for SBA-backed microloans. The bill would also change one program fraction from 1/55 to 1/56 in a related allocation formula. These changes would take effect upon enactment.
