More detail on small-business R&D awards
This bill would expand the public database for small-business R&D awards. It would show each subcontracted research institution’s name, location, and type (college, nonprofit, or federal lab). For colleges, it would note if they are in key federal categories, like Hispanic-serving, Tribal, Predominantly Black, or Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander–serving. Reporting would also cover Phase I, II, and III awards. SBA would need to add these fields within one year of enactment.
