Stop U.S. funding for U.N. rights council
If enacted, the Secretary of State would each year hold back the share of the U.S. payment to the U.N. that supports the U.N. Human Rights Council, based on the Secretary’s determination. Those withheld funds would be cancelled that day and would not be treated as unpaid dues. The bill would also ban any voluntary U.S. contributions to that council. These rules would start upon enactment.
