Tracking and placements for unaccompanied children

If enacted, the Office of Refugee Resettlement would have to track each unaccompanied immigrant child released from DHS custody while the child has an ongoing immigration case. ORR would also work with states to identify and secure placements for those children. The bill would remove an existing sponsor-related rule in federal regulations. It does not add funding.
