Pregnancy lets military families switch to TRICARE Select
If enacted, DoD would run a five-year pilot that treats pregnancy as a qualifying event for TRICARE Select. If you are eligible for TRICARE Select, you would be able to switch into that plan when you become pregnant. The pilot would start no later than 180 days after enactment. The Secretary would brief Congress within one year and provide yearly reports during the pilot.
