Aid blocked if college hires Chinese Communist Party funded teacher
If enacted, this bill would block a college from getting any federal funds for an award year if it employs a Chinese Communist Party–funded instructor. A CCP‑funded instructor is someone who teaches students and got money, directly or indirectly, from the Chinese Communist Party while employed by the school. If your school loses eligibility, you could lose federal student aid (grants, loans, work‑study) for that year. The rule would start 180 days after enactment. A college could regain eligibility in a later award year by showing the Secretary of Education it no longer employs such an instructor.
