Summary
This bill would ban U.S. exports of FDA-approved drugs and prosthetics to the Russian Federation. It would direct the President to prohibit any export of drugs (as defined by the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, including approved biologics) and prosthetics (FDA-authorized devices that replace or improve body parts), notwithstanding other laws. The prohibition would remain in place until the Secretary of State certifies that Russia has ceased military operations in Ukraine and withdrawn its forces.
