Stronger penalties for trespassing on Defense sites

This bill would make it a crime to enter Department of Defense property that is clearly marked closed or restricted without permission, within U.S. jurisdiction. A first offense could bring a fine under federal law (title 18), up to 180 days in jail, or both. A second offense could bring a fine, up to 3 years in prison, or both. A third or later offense could bring a fine, up to 10 years in prison, or both. This aims to protect Defense facilities and public safety.
